How can I adjust the speed of my video?

Pretty much the three ways to slow down a video are to:
1. Choose a slower song
2. Use our "Spotlight" feature.
3. For full-length videos, you can opt to have the video be at double or half speed while in the Finalize tab. Choose the half-speed to slow down the vid.
All Animoto visuals are designed to intelligently respond to the genre, structure, rhythm, and energy of your music. By REMIXING the video to a more mellow tune, your images will appear at a slower pace.
Also, in our image upload area, there are a bunch of buttons beneath the thumbnailed versions of your pics. The one with the star on it is the "Spotlight" button. Highlight the images that you'd like emphasized and then press the "Spotlight" button. Our engine will then know to sustain them on screen longer.

You can choose the speed at which images appear in your video. This is really useful for getting the feeling of your video right, and also for getting more images for a given song. Here is how it works.

Choose ‘Edit’ next to your song’s title:

This will open the editing options, including song start point and song pacing:

To change the pace of your video, move the pacing slider to the right or left:

Do you have pictures that just won’t fit into your current song? If the video is full, move the pacing slider to the right. You’ll see the following when you save:
