1. Did your email address match the domain of your organization’s website?
Oftentimes, applicants accidentally submit their personal email address instead of their affiliated cause email address. For example, use “contact@cause.org” instead of “contact@gmail.com”. If you do not have an affiliated email address, please include this in your comments, and direct us to a page that confirms that your personal email address is directly associated with your cause.
*Note: The email address that you are signed in under is the one that will be submitted with the application. You can update your email address in your profile settings: https://animoto.com/account/profile
2. Problems with the URL
We require that applicants provide us with an active URL so that we can check out their organization and see if it qualifies for Cause access. A denied application could be the result of a website being “under construction”, inactive, or even just a simple typo!
3. Does the website clearly state that the organization is a non-profit?
If you would like to reapply, please provide us with a direct link that confirms that your organization is a non-profit. Providing us with your charitable EIN will also help speed up the process.
4. Animoto for Education
Your application actually sounds more in line with our Education initiative. To apply for Animoto for Education, please visit this link.
In any case, if you would like to reapply for Animoto for a Cause using your new information, simply follow the same application process as before. Click here to reapply.
