When you import a video clip into an Animoto project, we automatically reduce, or soften the audio volume for the main soundtrack so that your video clip audio can be heard. The technical term for this is called "ducking."
Sometimes, you'll want to import video clips and disable the audio so the main soundtrack will play at a regular volume throughout your video slideshow.
It's easy to mute the audio of a clip:
Double click the clip to open the clip's settings, then click the speaker icon on the right side of the trim controls. This will disable the audio for the video clip and will result in full volume for your master soundtrack.
