To download, share, or play your video you will need to export it first. Exporting is what stitches together your blocks to turn your Animoto project into a usable video. To export your video, open your video for editing and click on either the Share or Export button in the upper right corner of the Workspace next to the Media Library. If the options for Share, Play, and Download are greyed on out the projects page, you will need to open your video for editing and export it again.
Once you’ve finished your project, you’ll need to export it to download, share or play it back. There are a few ways you can finalize and export your project.
In the Workspace
While in the project Workspace, click on Share in the upper right corner, and then select Publish and share. For users on the Free or Basic plan, this will say Export.
Click on one of the share options from the menu that appears to complete the export. Once it completes, you’ll be taken to the Share page where you can download, share, and view your video!
On the My Projects page
While on the My Projects page, click the 3 horizontal dots on the top right corner of the video tile that you want to export and select Export Video from the dropdown menu.
That will take you to the Workspace, where you can finalize your video. Click on Share in the upper right corner, and then select Publish and share. For users on the Free or Basic plan, this will say Export.
Click on one of the share options from the menu that appears to complete the export. Once it completes, you’ll be taken to the Share page where you can download, share, and view your video!
