Adding, Removing, and Re-Assigning Seats on Your Team

Your Professional Plus subscription automatically includes seats for 3 users, but Team Admins can purchase new seats, and reassign existing ones. You can purchase additional seats for the duration of your entire subscription, or for just a month at a time!

Adding Another Seat to Your Team

You can purchase additional seats directly from your Projects page within your Team Workspace, or on the Account page.

Note: Only Team Admins are able to purchase additional seats.

You can find the option to add seats next to your Team Member avatars on the upper right side of the Projects page. Click on the + icon to add a new Team Member.

You can add more seats from the Account page. Select the Workspace whose seats you want to change.. From the dropdown menu that appears, click Plan, then select Add Seats

Choose the number of additional seats you want to purchase, and follow the prompts to complete your purchase.

Removing and Reassigning Seats on your Team

 

If you need to add someone for a temporary amount of time, or change the members of your Team,  you can revoke member access to the Workspace, and reassign their seat. 

Note: Only Team Admins are able to change seats and permissions. 

Select the Workspace whose seats you want to change from the Account page while logged in. From the dropdown menu that appears, click Members.

Click on the 3 horizontal dots next to the seat you want to remove and select Remove Access. 

Now you’re ready to reassign the seat! From the Team Settings page, click on Invite Members. You will see the number of available seats left on your plan there.

A menu will appear that will prompt you to enter their email address and role. When you’re done send the invitation, and once they accept they will be a part of your Team!

What Happens if I Remove a Team Member From My Team Workspace?

Removing a Team member from your Team Workspace will not impact the projects in the Team Workspace.  The projects they created and worked on in the past will not change, but they will no longer have viewing or editing access to any Team projects unless you add them again. Their Private Workspace will no longer have the upgraded features of the Professional Plus plan..

Purchasing Seats for a Limited Time

Just like with all of our paid plans, we offer both Annual and Monthly options for purchasing additional seats. Additional seats can be purchased for a period of one month or one year. All seats on a Team will expire at the same time the Team Admin’s plan expires. If you purchase a seat that will expire after the Team plan expires,  the additional seat will be prorated for the time remaining on your plan, so that they are in line with the original expiration date.  You’ll be able to review the prorated amount due on the checkout screen prior to completing the purchase
