We're doing some maintenance to keep Animoto fast, secure, and dependable for millions of creators. If it's been more than 6 months since you last logged in to your Animoto account, your videos will be scheduled for deletion. To keep them safe in your Animoto account, upgrade to a Storage plan for as little as $1.67/month. As long as you are on a paid subscription plan, you’ll be able to access your videos.
Who is the storage plan for?
The storage plan is for anyone who doesn’t need to edit their videos, but wants to keep their projects safe and accessible! Animoto archives and deletes inactive accounts, so the storage plan is a secure way to protect your videos and media.
What happens when my videos are deleted?
If your account is inactive for 6 months or more, your account and all videos will be deleted. Once your videos are deleted:
- Embedded videos and existing play pages will no longer work
- You’ll no longer be able to download or access your videos
- Media you uploaded will also be lost
I paid for a storage plan but my videos aren’t there
If you’re returning to Animoto for the first time in a while, you might not see your videos right away. As soon as you log in, we’ll unarchive your videos, which can take up to 48 hours.
