You can track the number of unique views, total views, average view duration, and CTA button clicks for videos hosted on the Animoto share page or embedded using our embed tool. Stats are updated in real time and can be viewed on the Share page in the Link tab. Analytics are available on the Professional and Professional Plus plans.
Tracking stats on Animoto
You can track unique views, total views, average duration, and Call-to-action button clicks on the Link tab on the video’s Share page. Stats are tracked automatically and update in real time when you refresh the page. Your stats will not be affected if you update or re-export your video.
Videos stats are only available for videos that are shared using the play page or embed tool. Once videos are downloaded to your device, they are disconnected from our API where that information is recorded.
Stats not showing up?
Videos that are hosted on the Animoto website (using the Share page or embed tool) will be tracked using our native analystics. Once a video is downloaded to your device or uploaded to a third-party platform like YouTube, Instagram, or Facebook, it is disconnected from Animoto’s system where stats are recorded. To track performance on those platforms, use the analytics tools available on whichever platform your video is hosted on.
