All users can upload their own music, or browse our stock library! To get started, click on the Audio button at the top of the screen and select either EXPLORE to browse our library, or YOUR AUDIO. to upload your own!
Users on the Free and Basic plan can have one track per project. Subscribers on the Professional and Professional Plus plans can add up to 8 audio tracks to their project and will have full access to the Animoto music library.
Upload your own music
To upload your own music, click on the YOUR AUDIO tab, and then select Upload Music. We accept mp3, AAC, and m4a files up to 20mb in size and between 5 seconds and 20 minutes in length.
Add a song from the Animoto music library
Click on the EXPLORE tab to open the music library. If you know the name of the song you want to add, use the search bar at the top of the screen. Otherwise, you can search by mood or genre.
You can listen to a preview of a song by hovering your cursor over that song which causes it to play automatically. Click on the + button that appears when you hover over the song to add it to your audio timeline, or select the heart icon to add it to your favorites!
