Using Layouts

Layouts are a great way to showcase different pieces of media in the same block. With layouts, you can use images and video clips of different aspect ratios so they fit perfectly. Different Video Styles will have different layouts, so you can experiment to find one that works best for your video!

Choosing a Layout

You can choose different layouts by clicking on the “+” icon on the left of the video timeline:

That will open the menu so you can see all of the different options. You can browse different styles from the dropdown menu in the upper right corner.

To add more media to the block, just drag and drop it from the Media Library!

You can also change the background color of your block by clicking on the color icon to the left of the block you’re working on for even more customization:

Deleting placeholders in a layout

You can fill all of the placeholders in your block with media, and you can also delete the existing placeholders for even more customization. Placeholders without media won’t appear in your final video. To delete a placeholder, click on it to highlight, and select delete from the menu that appears.
